Anger Counselling
When Anger Starts to Take Over
You might recognise yourself here:
You feel easily triggered or overwhelmed
Small things lead to bigger reactions than you expect
You hold anger in, then it comes out all at once
You feel tension in your body most of the time
You struggle to express what you really feel
You regret things you say or do in the moment
You feel guilt, shame, or confusion after getting angry
Anger itself is not the problem.
But when it’s not understood or supported, it can start to take over.
How I Work With Anger
I don’t see anger as something to suppress or “fix.”
Anger is a natural human response — it’s often connected to boundaries, unmet needs, or parts of you that haven’t been fully heard.
In our work together, we go beyond just talking about what happened.
We slow things down.
We bring awareness to what is happening in your body.
We explore what sits underneath the anger — whether that’s hurt, fear, frustration, or something deeper.
Through Body Psychotherapy, you’ll learn how to:
Recognise early signals before anger escalates
Stay present with strong emotions without being overwhelmed
Express anger in a way that is clear, grounded, and safe
Reconnect with your body as a source of regulation, not tension
This is not about becoming someone who “never gets angry.”
It’s about learning how to have a healthier relationship with your anger.
What You Can Expect
A calm, non-judgmental space where you can be honest
Support to understand your triggers and patterns
Practical tools to regulate your nervous system
Gentle guidance to reconnect with your body
Space to express emotions safely, without pressure
Work at your own pace — nothing forced
You don’t need to arrive “calm” or have it all figured out.
You just need to be willing to start.

Have any questions?
If you have any questions about the therapies, feel free to contact us.
Is this just talking, or something different?
We do talk—but we also work with the body, awareness, and nervous system regulation. It’s a more integrated approach.

Frequently asked questions
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes, sessions are available online and in person.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what you’re working through. Some people come for short-term support, others for deeper ongoing work.
Do I need to be in crisis to start?
Not at all. Many people come before things reach that point.
